Canned fish:

Canned fish is an easy way to create some delicious meals, with little to no fuss! Here’s a few of our favourite recipes:

Salmon and Bean Salad:

This vibrant, refreshing salad is a speedy lunchtime treat. Made with canned salmon and beans, this recipe can be ready in under 10 minutes. Lunch will never be the same again.

Plus, canned salmon is a great source of omega 3!

Tuna & Sweetcorn Noodle Cakes:

Did you know that canned tuna in spring water is high in protein while remaining low in fat?

TV cook, Phil Vickery’s noodle cakes recipe uses two food cupboard staples – tuna and sweetcorn. These incredibly easy noodle cakes are ready in 30 minutes and are a great option for a quick dinner or satisfying working from home lunch.

Pulses include beans, lentils, and peas and many are naturally high in fibre! Some of our favourite pulse-tastic recipes are below:

Spicy Butter Beans with Crispy Garlic and Toasted Almonds:

This recipe is another one from our Love Canned Food ambassador, Phil Vickery. It’s the perfect, warming mid-week vegetarian dish.

Phil’s top tip for this dish is to serve with crusty bread to mop up all those delicious, garlicky juices – perfect for serving to friends in the brighter evenings!
