If Anyone Can Inspire the Nation to Eat Canned, our Love Canned Food Ambassadors Can!
Love Canned Food has been working with several ambassadors since 2017. In 2017, we kicked off the campaign with the author, blogger and GBBO finalist, Holly Bell. That year, we also worked with consultant nutritionist & registered dietitian Azmina Govindji. This year, Phil Vickery has taken over the reins to become our 2019 ambassador for Love Canned Food.
Over the years, Holly and Azmina have been encouraging the nation to eat more canned food by championing the cause with a series of recipes, top tips and inspirational content via media interviews and across social media.
Phil Vickery – Love Canned Food 2019 and 2020 Ambassador
Celebrity chef, Phil Vickery, has been working with us to develop canned food tips and recipes to make mealtimes simpler, tastier and more affordable for Brits. Michelin starred chef, Phil has turned his culinary focus to simple, delicious food which is attainable for all. He is keen to help us understand the many benefits of canned food and he’s a real advocate of incorporating it into recipes.
Phil said: “I am a firm believer that canned food is such an important kitchen companion for chefs and families alike; in fact, I always keep my kitchen cupboards stocked with a wide range of canned fruits, meats, fish and vegetables to inspire my meals.”
Love Canned Food is on a mission to remind people about the quality, taste, value and convenience of canned food. The team is looking forward to inspiring the nation with recipes and encouraging everyone to buy more canned food.
