This quick and easy recipe is a real cupboard staple, using the wonders of canned chickpeas you can have really easy hummus in no time.

Serves: 4 Servings
Method
1Add everything but the liquid from the chickpeas to a blender or food processor. Pulse, adding the bean liquid as needed to get things moving, until the hummus is completely smooth.
2Taste and add additional salt if desired.
3Scoop into a serving dish, drizzle with olive oil and paprika if desired.
4Serve with some lovely warm pitta bread.
