Puff Pastry Pizza Twists

Perfect for school lunches or as a snack on days out, these Puff Pastry Pizza Twists are filled with layers of tomato, cheese, ham, canned mushrooms and canned sweetcorn for a child-friendly favourite.

1Preheat the oven to 200c (fan).

2Lay a sheet of greaseproof paper on top of a chopping board. On top of the greaseproof paper, lay out a sheet of puff pastry.

3Mix the tomato puree, ketchup, and herbs, then spread evenly over the sheet of puff pastry.

4Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan evenly over the tomato sauce.

5Next, spread the ham, mushrooms, and sweetcorn evenly on top of the cheese.

6Lay the second piece of puff pastry over the top and press down firmly enough so that they stick together, being careful to not rip the pastry.

7Brush the pastry with a beaten egg.

8Slice the pastry as shown in the photo (into inch-thick strips and once down the centre).

9Take each piece and hold at either end, then twist and place onto a lined baking tray.

10Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200c (fan) for 15 - 20 minutes.


75 g Sliced Canned Ham

60 g Sliced Canned Mushrooms

30 g Canned Sweetcorn

2 x Puff Pastry Rolled Sheet

50 g Tomato Puree

1/4 tsp Italian Herbs

20 g Grated Parmesan

1 Egg (beaten)
